Silver is a female Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky mix. Her mom is a purebred Golden Retriever and her dad is a purebred white Siberian Husky. She is 11 months old and will be 1 year on March 9th. She is about 70 pounds (give or take a few). She is spayed and up to date on all her boosters and rabies vaccines.
This pretty girl LOVES to be around other dogs and people she is a total doll and really just wants to be loved, cared for and to have a home of her very own. Silver is good with most everyone and has lived with kids and she is good with them. She does meet people a little shyly at first, but give her some loves and she warms right up and will be your best friend. We do require that she go to a home with kids 6 and up because she is still just a big puppy and she doesn't realize her size she is and will accidentally knock over little ones with her kisses and love.
She can sit, shake, come, she is potty trained and crate train (she is used to going into her crate for bed at night). Despite being such a young do she is not too wild or too fast when running and she is more of a snuggler and would rather hang out with her people and play than go run. She's not too big on chasing after balls but she loves to chew on toys.
Keep in mind that Silver is still young and will need continued training; is not perfect; she is still having problems staying out of the trash cans and taking food that she is not supposed to. She also needs some training on not jumping on people when they first get home and she has a little chewing problem but with enough chew toys I think that could be solved.
With a little love and training on those things, she will be the perfect dog and companion. And of course Fuzzy Pawz Rescue can hook you up with a trainer! Silver simply needs a home where someone can take the time to guide her into adulthood.
